Anna came to my house and we went to the zoo. See alalala animals zoo zoo zoo. Elephants! Now back tigers. No no no.
First we visit the meerkats. They are inside their house because it is cold with a little rain. Rain rain go away. We stand at the glass and watch, then I check out the outside part but it is empty. We check the fish out. Lemurs are not out today.
I visit the kid potty, one of the best parts of the zoo, then we climb all over the rocks and the alligator. I try climbing to the top of the slide but it is too wet to ride down so I just go back down with Anna. There is no big rain but the ground is extra slippery so Anna and I both fall down a lot. Sometimes we cry. There are lots of peacocks.
We go to have lunch. We can sit in the cafe and eat our lunch from home. I brought noodles, ham, sweet potatoes, and a little salad. I eat every single noodle on my plate. The mamas get coffee. They don’t share.
We have my little red wagon but Anna doesn’t want to sit in it. I only want to sit in it a little. We go over to the elephants and watch. It is a boy one and a girl one. No pee this time. Next we see otters. Down at the tiger pen Jaya is on her big rock jumping for meat while the zoo keeper tells us about her. When she goes to the doctor she has to stay asleep with medicine. She lays down next to the fence and the zoo keeper gives her a shot right through the fence. She gets sleepy then. Zoo keepers don’t like to give tigers shots with no fences. My new friends at community group just taught me about shots last night. It is when you have plastic toy with a clicker like a pen and you wiggle it on your hand and pretend to cry. I thought it was hilarious but apparently tigers don’t understand the humor.
We have baby tigers at the zoo too! One two five tigers. We also have this amazing square with a railing around it and if you hold on the rail and walk around and around it’s so funny.
I say hi to the Gibbons and the anoa. They are sharing an enclosure today. Anna likes my Gibbons too. The girl one and the boy one are snuggling in their basket. I don’t know if they are a mama and da or if they are a brother and sister.
In the aquarium I can see the octopus just a little in her dark cave. It is not as exciting as last time when she was dancing and kissing the tank. But it was nice to say hello. We go upstairs but both Anna and I are getting too sleepy to listen to Mamas. We run outside on the grass for a minute and then we walk up up up all the steps to Anna’s car.
I am trying to read a book with my friend but we.
.. just… can’t…stay…..
Last night I went to Mimee and poppy’s house in Bremerton. I miss them a lot and every day I talk about visiting so finally Mama and I just went. We snuggled and talked and made pizza.
Today I came to some woods by the park. They are making a new spray ground so we can’t go in the park but the woods are full of squirrels, birds, and bumblebees.
Treasure box. Open it Mama. This. Cone. I put in. Close it. Help! Jump off. Where’s this come from? Birds. Up up up the hill.
We explore and climb. I stand above the diggers and watch the new park get built. We feel moss and bark and lichen, and I collect some cedar bark and soft sweet cedar feathers.
Grandma’s house is full of great things to touch and carry. I have a candle with a little stand and I put it in my basket. Grandma is cooking and I help with my little stool. There is a big blue stool today too. Light off. No light off! Light on.
We are nature watching. We put bread crumbs out the dining room for birds and a bowl of milk out the kitchen for kitty cats. Two cats come! They don’t drink the milk though. They just tease each other. Where other kitty cat go? Two kitty cats go! Jump down kitty! Other one kitty cat. Mommy! Get down cat. Meow! Meow! Where kitty cats go? No milk. Kitty poop over there, remember?
I watch out the window in case they come back. I am naked because I poured water on my dress at dinner. My belly is full of tofu and sweet peas. I am awake after my bedtime. This is the real thing.
Tonight I will visit Mimee and Poppy, and I tried on my fanciest dress. Wedding Mimee. Outside. No Huckleberries. Why not? Dress on. Huckleberry School. Mhmm. Yeah. Climb climb up. Don’t reach it. Wedding nice. Off. No, on. New wedding dress. Ballet! Shoes on. Green. Green shoes. White shoes. No. Green, blue. On. Ballet ballet ballet. Socks off. Hmmm. Unders off. Pee pee. All done.
I was riding in the stroller while Mama was running and we found this big mushroom. Red blue green. We also found a big new house with the guys walking on it to build it. Sunshine day. Blanket fall down hahahaha. Stroller. Run run Mama. No walk.
We got another new house. It is white and I have my own secret closet and the carpet gives me hives. I got a new phone and a new car kind of but mostly a bus. And a new church and some new friends.
At our red house I have this sweet playroom where Anna and I can drive strollers at the same time. At my new house I can only read books in the playroom. But my baby Helen can have her own room. And I can watch movies on cassette in the kitchen. Make tower movies. Fall down.
We did lots of funny things but my phone was broken so no Huckleberries. Sorry. But I miss you. Especially I call Mimee and Poppy on Mama’s phone and I call Grandpa Bill and Grandpa Joe on my purple phone.
Edie ‘Rene. One. Happy Birthday. April.
